The itinerary was wrong/incorrect for the first camp. I would have been very (understatement) upset if I had paid for that first camp to find out that all activities listed were for another place and not Leroo La Tau. If you need to get a Visa, then the correspondence should be abundantly clear and customized to the person and trip – Visa required for Zimbabwe (not a bunch of general information) with the Border Crossing: XYZ – not several emails later with first incorrect information and then finally correct information.
There was much misinformation and confusion with scheduling pre-excursions and lack of attention to detail which also leads to a survey on Rwanda per this title and we did not anywhere near Rwanda.
Please share any additional comments about the overall safari experience.
The lower scores are for 1) Camp Xugana – the food was very subpar to everywhere else, and the service wasn’t great. They were out of stock on several things and for the cost, they should never be out of stock and their food wasn’t great. 2) Camp Xaxakana – the guide was ok. he didn’t really find anything on his own compared to the other camp’s guides. The food was phenomenal though.

Ensure all correspondences, itineraries, and communications are accurate and customized to the person and trip. Keep information straight. people are trying to plan a vacation and not have to think about all of the details that is the point of the Rewild. Update the Safari guide – half the stuff was not needed and where do you need duct tape or a first aid kit? Also, there was no need to bring laundry detergent. Additionally, Rewild should know these accommodations inside and out for example, knowing what electrical adapters are needed. The safari guide says no bright colors or black and then we have guides telling us to wear black and no white colors. I would also state – may need a puffy jacket – not a windbreaker or light jacket – provide the whole range to explain the concept of desert temperature changes and how the body can react to those changes.

There were no gloves! Apex charters were the best to be with though.

Double confirm and ask for it in writing when following up on customer’s requests. There were no gloves but there were scuba boots.
