Conservation
Exploring new frontiers in conservation
We’ve been pioneers in conservation since our founding as Safari Professionals over 40 years ago. As Rewild Safaris, we’re advancing our commitment to responsible tourism, committing resources and partnering with organizations working to protect threatened species, revitalize habitats, and engage local communities in the benefits of sustainable practices.
Rewilding goes beyond trying to hold onto what we have. It’s a renewed pledge to bring you closer to Earth’s most breathtaking wild places and species and to help ensure they can be enjoyed for future generations.
Conservation is no one thing. Only in protecting the balance of the land, its wildlife, and its cultures can we sustain all that makes a place magical.
Our responsibilities toward responsible tourism.
Our private luxury adventures have been carefully planned by our experienced safari experts to maximize adrenaline while minimizing environmental impact. And we’re always trying to improve.
From carbon capture to partnerships with organizations protecting endangered species – even specialized safaris assisting in the protection of animals including rhinos, elephants, polar bears, snow leopards and penguins – we are always exploring different and varied ways of reducing the impact of your trip. But all focus on core principles:
- Protecting endangered species – actively engaging in efforts to protect and preserve the habitats we visit and wildlife we encounter.
- Lowering environmental impact – to leave local ecosystems as close as possible to the way we found them, and hopefully someday better.
- Supporting communities on their terms – working with what local communities value and need, not simply what visitors think is important.

Impact on Wildlife
Committed to supporting local conservation programs.
For over 40 years, we’ve had the privilege of designing and guiding safaris across Africa and the world, where we’ve encountered remarkable individuals making a real difference in their communities and for the wildlife of the regions they call home. These trailblazers, like the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, are undeterred by the challenges they face and remain unwavering in their dedication to preserving both the natural world and the people who depend on it.
Many of our travelers are fortunate to meet these change-makers and learn firsthand about the projects they champion. While we never expect our guests to contribute beyond their journey, we’ve often seen them step up, offering time, resources, and passion to support these causes.
